Welcome to Westview Salthouse — a designer 4BR/3.5BA retreat in Ghent, NY, where modern luxury meets classic Upstate charm. Just minutes from Hudson and Chatham, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Hudson Valley. Enjoy a heated saltwater pool (May–Sept), two fireplaces, two living rooms, a chef’s kitchen, screened porch, and premium amenities. Winter brings nearby skiing and cozy nights by the fire — now booking holiday and winter weekends!

The space
Set on nearly 3 private acres down a quiet country road, this thoughtfully designed farmhouse offers the perfect balance of togetherness and retreat. With two living rooms, two fireplaces, and multiple indoor–outdoor spaces, there's room for everyone to spread out and relax—especially in the cozy winter months when the house becomes a warm, elegant hideaway.

Guests have full access to the entire home and property, except for any areas behind locked doors, which are reserved for owner storage. Please note that this is a large home with high-end amenities—we kindly ask that parents supervise children during their stay to help ensure safety and care for the space.

Other things to note
We have boardgames available for your use, including: Clue, Yahtzee, Double Ditto, Sorry!, Connect 4, Pictionary, Monopoly, Last Word, Jenga, plus a mix of 500- and 1000-piece puzzles like Artsy Cats, Full Bloom, Cool Cats, and Cyrus Starcher. Also included are a foldable cornhole set, kickball, and soccer ball for outdoor fun.

For your safety and security, we have exterior security cameras around the property. There are no cameras inside the home. While the house is in a quiet, rural setting, it’s still part of a neighborhood—so we kindly ask that guests be respectful and keep noise to a minimum during late-night hours.
