Valley Vista Getaway RV Site

Valley Vista Getaway RV Site is the perfect retreat for astronomers. Located in southwestern New Mexico, this RV Site offers stunning mountain and valley views. A roll-off roof observatory on-site for guest use with Bortle 1 skies and little light pollution.

The space
Come and camp under the stars at our property, where you can use our observatory to marvel at the night skies. Bring your telescope and set it up in the observatory, conveniently located just steps away from our spacious RV site, which can accommodate campers of all sizes and comes equipped with both 30 and 50 AMP plug-ins, water and RV dump station.

Please be aware that campers must be self-contained, as there are no bathrooms, laundry facilities, or picnic tables available. Additionally, we do not permit fires due to the dry conditions in southwestern New Mexico.

✔️ Valley Vista Getaway sits on 10 acres of high desert.

🛒 GROCERY SHOPPING is limited in the area. It is best to bring your groceries with you. There is a grocery store in Lordsburg, NM to the North or Douglas, AZ to the South.

🍝 RESTAURANTS - There are 4 restaurants within a 15 mile radius. Days and times open vary.

🛻 The nearest GAS STATIONS are in Animas, NM 11 miles from Valley Vista Getaway.

📱CELL SERVICE - most cell phones do work at Valley Vista Getaway. Verizon and US Cellular seem to work the best.

With years of experience owning a campground in the Black Hills of SD, exploring the country in our Motorhome, volunteering at GCNRA & John having a background in civil engineering and Cathy with non-profit organizations, we're excited to share this special lplace with you.
