The space
My wife and I have lovingly renovated and designed this space to offer a cozy, one-of-a-kind retreat for travelers seeking an unforgettable stay in Curaçao. Blending rustic charm with modern comforts, this open-air sanctuary invites you to relax, recharge, and soak in the island’s unique atmosphere.

💡 Good to Know:
This hidden gem is tucked behind our family home in a residential neighborhood, where you might occasionally hear a friendly canine serenade from the neighbors’ dogs.
Due to high electricity costs, we include 10 kWh per night, enough for 8 hours of AC use. Any additional usage will be charged separately. Meter readings are taken at check-in and check-out for transparency.

Guest access
As you enter through the blue/purple wooden door, you'll notice an area to the right that we call the "Gray Area"—a cozy outdoor family dining space. While this area is part of our home, we do not use it when we have guests, and it is not included in the listing.
To reach your private retreat, simply walk straight ahead a few steps, go up two steps, and you'll arrive at your exclusive space.
✨ For clarity: This entire listing is exclusively for you and your guest. The family dining area remains closed for private family use whenever guests are staying. Enjoy your stay with full privacy!
Other things to note
Due to the high cost of electricity in Curaçao, your stay includes 15 kWh per night, which is usually enough for regular use—including running the A/C for about 10 hours at night.
For example: 4 nights = 60 kWh included.
If your usage goes just a bit over, that’s totally fine—I completely understand that it can happen. However, if there’s a significant excess, I may need to charge for the extra consumption at a rate of $0.60 USD per kWh.
To keep things clear and transparent, a photo of the electricity meter will be taken at check-in and again at check-out, so we can verify everything together.
No need to stress—just be mindful, especially with the air conditioning, and everything will be just fine. 😊
