The Piggery at Maesycoed: A beautifully converted single-level barn with charm and character, nestled in the quiet countryside in Teifi Valley, West Wales. Rural but only 2 miles from Lampeter and Aberaeron on the Ceredigion coastline is 15 miles. An ideal base to explore the surrounding area or just relax and enjoy the peace. Self-contained fully fitted with everything you need.
The large enclosed garden is perfect for families and relaxation with great views and your dog will love it

The space
A spacious characterful single-level barn conversion with a really homely feel that can sleep 4.
Bedroom one has a king size bed with orthopedic mattress and bedroom two has 2 singles and a TV.
Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, large fridge-freezer, air fryer, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine and breakfast bar.
The very comfortable lounge has 3 sofas, and an extendable dining table.
Free WiFi with large TV with Netflix, and a full sports package .
Underfloor heating.
Woodburner - logs provided free of charge.
Bath and separate shower.
Travel cot and highchair are available upon request.
We are very dog-friendly - 2 dogs stay for free, please feel free to request if you have more dogs. We have a large enclosed garden and depending upon the time of year a field to exercise your dog. We really love dogs and will do our best to make you feel comfortable bringing your dogs even if they are reactive. Just let me know how I can help. We provide dog poo bags. bowls. a dog bed and extra towels . Just bring your throws if your dog likes the sofa, though there are extra supplied for your use.
We now have Fibre WiFi so possible to do online meetings with good speed. Good news for Sports fans we now have full Sky sport package available during your stay, includes Prime Netflix, Sky, TNT, Plus Discovery +.

You have access to all The Piggery, a large single -level annexe to our Farmhouse at Maesycoed. Your private entrance takes you into a boot room and sliding doors into the open plan kitchen and lounge area. The vaulted ceiling and large windows give plenty of light and with underfloor heating, constant hot water and a woodburning stove we know you will feel cosy in winter even if it does rain in Wales sometimes! The fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops and breakfast bar, electric range, microwave, air fryer, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser will make your self catering a pleasure.
The large lounge area has an impressive brick chimney with a woodburning stove, we supply all wood free for your stay. There is a dining area with table and four chairs and three sofas . A large smart TV with Netflix and all sport channels and there are books and board games for your entertainment.
The corridor takes you past the two bedrooms, one king size bed and one with 3ft single beds and up two steps to the bathroom, which has a shower and bath, washbasin and toilet.
You have your own private large enclosed garden with a view offering a large lawn, patio area with garden furniture, table and chairs, BBQ and a fire pit. Depending on the time of you will have the use of a field to walk your dog if required. Plenty of off road parking in the new parking area .

Lampeter is a market town with the beautiful University in the centre. There are two supermarkets (Sainsburys and Coop) and lots of independent shops, coffee shops, takeaways and places to eat, many of which are dog friendly.
The Piggery offers the perfect place to relax and unwind with a home from home feel. Only 12 miles to the wonderful Ceredigion coastline with dolphin watching beaches. The Brecon Beacons start at Llandovery, which is 18 miles.
We think you will find your stay will enable you to relax, unwind and just enjoy the peace and quiet and many of our guests have returned for this reason.

I live on the smallholding with my husband Paul and we have recently retired so are available if you need us most days. We love it here and really enjoy having guests to share this peaceful and beautiful countryside with you. I love country living and I'm always happy when guests bring their dogs with them.
