The space
Step into a 35m2 thoughtfully restored 1970s Tokyo house — a compact yet inspiring space that blends old soul with new life.
Carefully renovated in 2025, this freestanding home embraces the elegance of compact living, with a soaring 6-meter ceiling that fills the space with air and light. Reclaimed wood, original beams, and soft tatami floors preserve the home’s heritage, while clean, modern touches bring ease to everyday life.
The first floor features a sleek stainless steel kitchen, a cozy living area, and a modern bathroom. Upstairs, you'll sleep on a Queen-size Simmons hotel mattress, placed directly atop traditional tatami — the perfect blend of comfort and culture.
With windows in every direction, natural light dances through the space from morning to evening. A peaceful, design-forward retreat — perched above the rooftops, with a view that looks up to Tokyo Skytree.
Guest access
This is a completely private room, and there are no shared areas with other guests inside the room.
Other things to note
By making a reservation, you are considered to have agreed to the following terms:
* Please refrain from any behavior that may disturb neighbors. Kindly keep noise to a minimum after 8:00 PM.
* Smoking is not allowed inside the room. If you wish to smoke, please do so at a designated smoking area outside the building.
* Parties or loud gatherings in the room are strictly prohibited.
* Please remove your shoes before entering the room.
* Only the guests included in the reservation are allowed to stay. Visitors or overnight stays by non-registered guests are not permitted.
* Please handle the room’s furniture and amenities with care. If anything is damaged, please notify us.
* Do not leave small children alone in the room.
If any of the above house rules are violated, additional compensation may be required.
Request Based on the Private Lodging Business Law
Under the law enacted on June 15, 2018, all guests staying in a private lodging (minpaku) must provide the following information for the creation of a guest registry:
* Full name, address, occupation, nationality, and passport number
* A clear photo of the entire passport
* A photo showing the guest’s face along with the passport photo page (for identity verification)
If you have a residential address in Japan, passport submission is not required.
Please note that failure to provide this information may result in the cancellation of your stay.

However, we may provide your information in accordance with legal obligations if requested by judicial institutions (e.g., courts or police) or administrative authorities.
