The Skylight Ski Lodge is the perfect destination! Situated just off VT-Route 30 outside Manchester Center, your stay will be within 35 minutes of multiple ski mountains including Stratton, Bromley, and Okemo just to name a few. If you love to snowmobile in the winter, the Lodge is on the VAST trail system and surrounded by the Green Mountains. When you are ready to head in for the day, 2 great rooms with large stone fireplaces and a gourmet kitchen will be ready for you to relax and refuel!

About Skylight Ski Lodge
Originally built in 1950, Skylight Ski Lodge served as a beloved Vermont inn from 1952 to 2002. In its heyday, Ski Magazine (February 1977) wrote, “Most of the serious skiers who frequent the Skylight Lodge wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.”

Over the years, the lodge has been thoughtfully renovated to blend its rich history with modern comfort. Every detail showcases exceptional craftsmanship — from maple trees milled on-site for trim and flooring to the two expansive great rooms anchored by massive native stone, wood-burning fireplaces.

Today, Skylight Ski Lodge continues to welcome guests with the same spirit of warmth, adventure, and connection that has defined it for generations — a timeless Vermont retreat where memories are made year after year.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire home — it’s all yours during your stay. Get the whole gang together! With seven bedrooms, two spacious great rooms, and plenty of room to gather both indoors and out, there’s space for everyone to relax, connect, and make lasting memories.

Enjoy the outdoor fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars, and make the most of the property’s scenic pond — please note that swimming is at your own risk during summer months and skating is at your own risk during winter months

Other things to note
Skylight Ski Lodge is a private mountain retreat designed for relaxation and connection. The property operates on a septic system, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful of water use during their stay.

Winter travelers should plan for snowy conditions — 4WD or AWD vehicles are strongly recommended. A starter bundle of firewood is provided, and we’ll share details on local firewood purchase options prior to your arrival.

For ski and snowboard enthusiasts, we’ve partnered with Ski Butlers for convenient in-home equipment delivery and fittings. A detailed house guide will be sent before check-in to help you settle in with ease.
