Neighborhood highlights

Parsons Barn is near to the most scenic areas in the Peak District National Park: you can walk or cycle from the door to the beautiful Manifold Valley or drive to Dovedale, the Roaches and Alton Towers Theme Park in 50 minutes. The market towns of Ashbourne Buxton and Leek are under 20 minutes away, while in around 45 minutes, you can choose from at least three reservoirs offering water sports, walks and wildlife, more than 6 stately homes or gardens, including the wonderful Chatsworth, Kedleston, and Haddon Hall plus heritage tours of The Potteries and Derwent Valley Mills. The Peak Park is heaven for those of us who love exploring historic villages with quaint pubs and tea-rooms for cream teas, cakes and warming soups, while for the more active, there's climbing, horse-riding and golf in addition to rambling and cycling for which it is even better known.

Love hosting our cottages with my wife Jenny on Airbnb and enjoy welcoming people to the the beautiful Peak District National Park and hope they love it as much as we do. Live and work on our farm where we keep Aberdeen Angus cattle and Cheviot sheep , along with Evie our Huntaway sheep dog and Louis the cat . We also run a Home Accessories wholesale business along with our own shop in Leek . Treat guests as we would like to be treated
