Just minutes from I-70, the 600 square foot Pine Ridge Cabin sits on the back edge of the woods at Old World Garden Farms, a picturesque 46-acre property that blends natural beauty and recreational spaces into a rustic mini-farm resort feel.
The quaint, 2 story Pine Ridge Cabin has everything you need to enjoy a great get-away - including a well equipped kitchen and a great private outdoor space that includes a covered porch, gas grill and fire pt with free wood!
The space
The Pine Ridge can accommodate up to a maximum of 3 adult guests, or 2 adult guests and (2) children. The cabin's spacious loft bedroom features a king size bed that overlooks the living space below. The loft also includes a work desk with a window that overlooks the woods outside.
The main living area includes a couch, reclining chair, coffee table and small kitchen table. The sofa in the main living area on the first floor converts to a pull out bed for an additional guest or children.
The kitchen is very well equipped. In addition to a full size refrigerator, electric stove and microwave, there is a Keurig coffee maker (with coffee pods) blender, griddle, toaster and a very good variety of pans, dishes, bowls, glasses, cutlery, etc.
The Pine Ridge has its own dedicated wifi that is more than powerful enough to handle TV streaming and internet for computers, phones, etc. There is a 50 inch flat screen smart television that includes free Samsung TV channels plus the ability to stream to the TV using your YouTube, Amazon Prime, Nextflix, etc. memberships.
The covered back porch is easy to access right off the main floor's back door and comes complete with a propane gas grill (propane is provided) and an outdoor dining table that can seat up to four comfortably. The patio overlooks the woods below and is a great spot for dining, playing games or simply relaxing.
The Pine Ridge also has a private fire pit area right off of the back porch. The fire pit has a swing out cooking grill for those that like to cook over an open fire. The area includes two Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the fire. Free firewood is provided for guests with a covered wood rack that easily hold a few day's worth of fires. Additional wood is provided at no cost if needed by the owners.
The bathroom is on the first floor and features on-demand hot water for fast heat. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and sink. Towels, washcloths, and hair dryer are supplied along with a supply of shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Toilet paper and paper towels are also provided.
Guest access
All guests of the Pine Ridge Cabin are more than welcome to enjoy the farm's public spaces as well, which include numerous sitting areas, 2 hiking trails (about 1.5 miles each in length), a pickleball court, and a pond with a covered sitting area and an additional fire pit. There is also a main covered open-air barn and large fire pit area that guests can access when not in use for a private event.
Other things to note
There are shades for all first floor windows and doors for your privacy. There are two triangle shaped windows at the top peak of the living room wall that allows for natural light to come into the indoor space. These two windows do not have blinds and there will be natural light from the adjacent wooded area that comes through during daylight hours.
