The space
This is our third Airbnb -- "three's a charm!!" We met at UVA so this spacious home is very special to us. We've poured our heart & soul into designing this as an ideal spot for friends and family to getaway and and enjoy the mountain views. You're surrounded by nature at our unique eco-village cabin but also super close to the several breweries & cideries & wineries & distilleries & restaurants that Nelson County Route 151 offers. Furnishings are brand new and we've thoughtfully curated every inch of the property!!
Downstairs, our chestnut leather sectional faces our large TV (65") with YouTube TV & other streaming services. The fully-equipped kitchen features an induction stove and plenty of amenities to cook meals for your party. The 8' farm table comfortably seats 8 people. The sunroom windows feature pull-down screens to enjoy the breeze and plenty of natural light. The downstairs master features a king bed, walk-in closet, and ensuite full bathroom. The front hallway has a half bath.
Upstairs, enjoy another sitting area with another large TV (55"), bookshelf, playing cards, poker chips, and plenty of board games. If the couch doesn't provide enough space, feel free to grab our 4 colorful bean bags off the landing. Kids love these!! We provide an acoustic guitar, so don't worry about packing your own. For the 3 upstairs bedrooms: the first features a king bed, the second features 2 queen beds, and the third features a twin-over-full bunk bed. There's also a full bathroom.
Outside, we have a Weber grill on the back patio and, again, seating for 8 on our patio set with the red umbrella. We also offer a "playroom" garage equipped with our third flat-screen TV, soundbar, ping pong table, darts board, cooler, and cornhole.
In the front yard, enjoy our custom built fire pit with bench seating around our Yukon 27" Solo Stove. In the "attached" garage, we provide a folding table, folding chairs, camp chairs, and a portable cooler. And a short walk (6min) from our property, you'll access 40 acres of private eco-village trails that are PERFECT for a morning stroll or evening saunter!!

The whole home is yours. You can also walk ~6min up the road to the 40 acres of common shared land -- the perfect place for an early morning run or a leisurely afternoon stroll along the meadows and river.
Other things to note
This property is located in a peaceful, eco-friendly neighborhood that protects wildlife and promotes a tranquil, quiet atmosphere. The area is best suited for nature lovers and those looking for a quiet getaway. Disruptive parties, amplified outdoor music, and excessive noise are not allowed. Guests are encouraged to enjoy all the natural sights and sounds the landscape provides!!
Please understand that we have lives and obligations outside of sharing our home with our guests. We are thrilled to welcome you into our home at a fraction of the price of a hotel stay. However, there are some things that our house doesn't have that a hotel might. Just as if you were a guest in your friend's home, you'll need to arrive with some of your own supplies for your stay. Items like shampoo, toiletries, cleaning supplies, condiments, ziplock bags, and coffee are not provided.
