Experience the magic of life in the canopy from the comfort of Home Tree - an exquisite and tranquil jewel of a cabin, built on top of two containers & nestled in 15 acres of indigenous forest at the heart of a wildlife corridor that borders Nairobi's famous Giraffe Sanctuary. The plethora of small arboreal creatures, scent of wild flowers on the wind and unfolding view across indigenous forest, ensures that a stay in this gorgeously comfortable home-from-home fills one's soul to the very brim.

The space
Home Tree is a delightful tree-top cabin that looks out across the silvery-green canopy of acres of unfolding indigenous forest. Built on top of (& in-between) two 20ft containers, the cabin can comfortably accommodate 4 people (sharing) in two bedrooms.

The top floor is a bedsit with kitchen and bedroom rolled into one, with a delightful outside bathroom with shower. A covered verandah serves as the sitting room, and there's a table for outside dining.

The downstairs room, accessed through a trap door and ladder staircase (or via an outside spiral staircase) is a large open plan second bedroom with it's own toilet and sink, with twin beds that can be made into a kingsize double.

The upper part of the Cabin is accessed via a wooden walkway, part of which is a drawbridge that can be drawn up for added security in the evening.

WARNING: the aerial walkway does not have hand rail protection, please see photos, so guests should not be afraid of heights and must take full responsibility for their own safety.

Likewise, the edge of the verandah is protected by large flower pots and does not have a guard rail. Care must be taken at all times and guests are responsible for their own safety.

Other things to note
Home Tree is located in a wildlife corridor. Guests must give animals the right of way at all times, and are fully responsible for their own safety.
