The space
In warm weather you’ll enjoy morning coffee on the deck with only the sounds of chirping birds and a small waterfall to accompany you, or take a short drive to McCloud Falls, Lake Siskiyou, Lake McCloud, or the shops and restaurants in the nearby town. In cold weather, it’s a perfect home base for a trip to Mt Shasta Ski Park or a relaxing evening by the fire.

Indoors:
Main House: 2 bedrooms. The living room, dining room, and kitchen have been recently refurbished, boasting stylish design touches, a spacious living area filled with natural light, and captivating views of the mountain. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and an adjacent bathroom with a shower and whirlpool tub, while the upstairs bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and a foldout chair for an extra sleeping spot.
Guest Cottage: A charming one-bedroom, one-bathroom retreat that complements the main house. With a king bed, kitchenette, a cozy couch, and a full bathroom with a whirlpool tub, this lovely space is ideal for 2.

Smaller groups are welcome to add the cottage too, just let us know, and we’ll include it for $50 per night.**
Outdoors:
Enjoy a large deck with picturesque views of the mountain, meadow, and pond, a comfortable yard, a charming forest for exploration, a basketball goal, a charcoal grill, and a spacious driveway with ample parking. As lovely as the inside is, it’s the enchanting outdoor space that truly sets this home apart.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you need, including a large dining table, a separate breakfast area, coffee, cooking equipment, and basic supplies.

The oven is older and not in pristine condition, but it is fully functional.
One of the living room windows has a slight haze from moisture between the panes, not a cleaning issue.
There is no TV set in this home.
General Amenities: Central air/heat, WiFi, washer/dryer, fireplace, and plenty of board games for your enjoyment.

This home is not suitable for parties or large gatherings. We kindly ask that you treat the property with the same care and respect you would your own. Please be mindful of our neighbors by observing quiet hours of 10pm to 8am and respecting their privacy.
In the winter, please be sure to monitor the driving conditions as the road/driveway will be icy. We have it plowed regularly, but road conditions can vary and we recommend being ready.
We allow up to 2 dogs with an additional pet fee. No cats or other animals allowed.
Please note that this home is located in a rural, rustic setting, offering a peaceful retreat from the city. While we uphold high cleaning standards, guests may encounter natural elements such an occasional bug or a touch of nature from the surrounding forest. This unique getaway is nestled in nature, so it may not have the sterile feel of a modern city home or apartment. We invite you to embrace the charm and tranquility of this serene escape.
