The space
We do the cleaning and maintenance ourselves. Abrupt questions or places left in the care of an anonymous hotel service are experiences we want to avoid... :-)

We accept some dogs (only 1 at a time) under the conditions described below.

This cottage welcomed its first guests at the end of 2020.
It is an annex of the main house we live in; we will be discreet and respectful of your tranquility but available if desired.

10km from the toll of St Arnoult (A10), 12' from Rambouillet, 30' from Chartres, 60km from Paris. Perfect location for a break on the edge of the forest

The common entrance is through the garden.

This cottage is composed of a very bright main room of about 25m² equipped with a kitchenette. It overlooks the garden and a lovely view of our house and the village church.
A beautiful bathroom/ WC with a large shower cubicle.

Upstairs 2 very attic bedrooms, each with a 140 bed. In the common room a sofa bed 140 of good quality.
All bedding dates from October 2020.

Sheets are provided and beds are made. Bath towel not provided (+ €5/person if needed)

Please note:
- The 2 bedrooms upstairs are small and very attic.
- You get there by a narrow, steep staircase.
For these reasons, the accommodation is not suitable for children, people with difficulties on the stairs and possibly very large or large builders.
- The box is too far for a wifi connection but we provide an Ethernet/Usb cable for fiber access if needed.
- The Free network doesn't work in the village!

We have a dog. He is big and potentially impressive but very kind. He sleeps in the garden. They're off-limits to your place.
Your dog is ONLY welcome if he is sociable and you both let them regulate themselves between dogs. They should also not access your rooms or the sofa in the listing, nor should they be left alone in the listing. We would like to know as much as possible about your dog and their education BEFORE agreeing to welcome them or not.

Nearest stations: Rambouillet 12km or Dourdan 12.5km. There is a bus service Dourdan - Rambouillet via Sonchamp (line 10) from Monday to Saturday.

Motorway A10 at 10km: exit toll n°1 Dourdan - St-Arnoult

It is easy to park on the village square at 50m or possibly in the garden on request, but it is asked not to park in the alley in front of the house
