Built in 1903, this iconic building, located in the picturesque downtown of Wapakoneta (a real live "Mayberry" town!), is home to "#3", a classic 3 (2 queen, 1 twin memory foam mattresses!) bedroom apartment, with living room, kitchen and dining room, thats sits in our quaint city to spend your day working, shopping and dining! Ideal for those who value sleep, there are NO EXTERIOR WINDOWS so total darkness is finally achieved!
The space
Walking distance to TWO, 3 story antique malls, local coffee, sweet shop and multiple restaurant; boutique shopping, a riverwalk, and lets not forget to explore the trail of Neil Armstrong, as Wapakoneta is home to one of the most iconic men in history! A less than 10 minute drive will get you to the Armstrong Air and Space Museum, which is notorious for exciting guests of all ages! We do have a downtown train that runs to add to the nostalgia as well, but dont worry, as ear plugs (should you need them) are provided! Please be aware that there is NO elevator, stairs only.
Please park in the parking lot to the south east of the building, behind the large brick building directly east of our building (toward the railroad tracks). DO NOT park on the south side (behind) the building. They WILL tow you. You can enter the glass doors in the front (North side, Auglaize Street- see photo) that are labeled 29 1/2 and go directly up the stairs. You can also enter from the south side of the build through the smaller man door and go up the back stairs- it's the same long hallway. DO NOT park on the street overnight, you will get a ticket.
Rates are based on up to four guests. Additional guests are welcome at $50 per person, per night, with a maximum of six guests total.
To maintain the quality of the space, smoking or vaping indoors will incur a $250 deep-cleaning fee. The same fee applies if glitter, confetti, or similar materials are used within the unit.
We kindly ask that you be mindful of noise, as this historic building is home to both other guests and small businesses. Sound can travel easily through its original walls and floors, and your courtesy helps preserve the peaceful atmosphere that makes this place special!
If you need to smoke, please be respectful of the storefront owners and smoke BEHIND (south side) the building :) If you are found to have smoked in any of our units you will be asked to leave immediately and forfeit all booking fees. There is also a $250 cleaning fee if smoking or vaping of any kind in any of our rooms occurs. This also applies to any animal on premises, as well as glitter/confetti etc.
On stays longer than 7 days, there will be a weekly cleaning/inspection of apartment to ensure all is well for your visit. Times for housekeeping will be confirmed with you so as not to interrupt your stay with us.
Important Note for Families with Children
Our space is located above a business, and while we welcome families, please note that the sound of running or jumping can significantly disrupt the operation below. To maintain a positive relationship with our downstairs neighbors, we kindly ask that guests ensure a quiet environment, especially when it comes to noise from running feet. If this might be a challenge for your little ones, we might not be the best fit for your stay.
Trash can be placed in the dumpster on the south side of the building, the key is on the yellow stick on the right hand side of the back (south) door. Please be sure to return it to the hook, as there will be a $25 charge for it not being returned for other guests to use.
