Kala House offers a unique off-grid experience; beautifully situated between the vast Baja desert, its mountainous divide and the Pacific just overhead.

On-site (Muay Thai) training sessions and transportation to Los Cerritos Beach can be arranged upon availability with Kala Surf School and surf boards are available for rent.

Get away and enjoy the nature; 15min hike for the oceanfront sunrise/sunset views, or have a campfire in the Baja desert. It's all here to explore.

The space
This property is shared between the Kala House Cabaña and private rented Yurts, with a shared full-kitchen and outdoor bathroom. The Yurts have their own seating and bonfire area, with plants and shade for privacy. We are completely solar and off-grid; a charging station for electronics is provided however we encourage travellers to 'unplug' for a bit and to enjoy what nature has to offer. A dining table and seating for extra guests is provided in the Yurt, and an outdoor grill for charcoal or firewood for their own semi-private cooking area.

Guests are welcome in all parts of the property and encouraged to feel at home. Oscar is a lovely host and happy to accomodate and welcome new travellers into his home, and all parts of the property.
