Guest access
To access the apartments, you’ll go through a few doors before reaching your unit:
- Main entrance: From the street, enter through the main door located on the left side of the building, which is secured with a digital lock.
- Second floor: Once you reach the second floor, you’ll find another door that opens to a small lobby. This door also has a digital lock for added security.
- Apartment doors: Each apartment is clearly labeled with its name — Guajataca, Jobos, or Mabodamaca.
- Next to each apartment door, there is a key lockbox where you’ll find the keys to your specific apartment.
In total, you’ll pass through three doors before entering your rented apartment, ensuring privacy and security.
- Parking: There is no parking on the premises, but free street parking is available around the building and near the downtown plaza.
Other things to note
This apartment is located on the 2nd floor with no elevator. The street entrance is shared with two other Airbnb units, but each apartment has its own independent door. Shared laundry is available in the building.
We are perfectly located in the heart of town, right in front of Isabela Plaza, where many evening activities are hosted, including music, cultural events, and even international movie festivals! Everything is just a few steps away.
Our doors and windows keep most of the street and plaza noise outside, but please note that some street noise may be heard indoors. For your convenience, we provide earplugs if needed.
As a coastal town in Puerto Rico, guests may encounter mosquitoes and other insects, although the property is fumigated monthly. Being in a tropical island, the area is prone to hurricanes, earthquakes, and occasional power or water outages. The building is equipped with a water storage tank to help ensure water availability. Additionally, pigeons in the plaza may occasionally reach the apartment balconies.
