A private studio attached to our family home, it’s tranquil garden setting backing onto woodlands & coastal path, with a beach 300m away.
An ideal home away from home for
couples and young families alike.
For the business traveller, wifi and desk area for remote working.
It is located in a quiet residential coastal town, close to Edinburgh airport.
It is ideally situated to explore the local area and other main tourist attractions.

The space
The studio apartment is attached to the main house.
It has it’s own separate entrance on the ground floor leading to a well equipped modern kitchen and back door leading to a patio and secluded garden.
The stairs lead up to a landing with an ideal work space with desk, chair and a view out to the back garden and woodlands.
The upstairs landing has a door into the open plan living area with a double bed, mirror wardrobes and lounge area.
In addition there is a travel cot and a fold out single bed available.
These are packed away when not needed.
This open plan room has large windows with blackout blinds and overlooks the garden and woodlands.
The bathroom, is also on this level with an electric shower, toilet and sink.

Double glazed windows and central heating throughout the apartment.
There are also USB outlets, WiFi, TV & Netflix.

The kitchen area is fully fitted and equipped for your stay with fridge, freezer, induction hob, combination oven microwave and a washing machine. Drop down table and stools.

Gray’s Wee Haven is in a quiet cul-de-sac. There is off street parking as well as on street free parking available. A lockable outside bicycle parking is available in our driveway as well as indoor alarmed storage for bicycles( by arrangement)

Guests will have full access to the studio apartment. Own private entrance, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom/ livingroom and landing study. Own patio.
Back garden is a shared space with host.

Train - Dalgety Bay train station is 1,5 miles away it has free parking and the train takes 25 minutes and goes over the world heritage Forth Rail Bridge into the centre of Edinburgh. The final stop at Waverley station drops you right in the centre of Edinburgh.
You can also get the train from Inverkeithing station. Free parking at

Tickets can be purchased at the station ticket machine with cash or card. Tickets can also be purchased on the train.

Bus - Taking the bus to Edinburgh from The Haven, you can get the bus from the main road - out of the house turning right then turn left out of The Haven up the hill. Bus stop is on right hand side heading west the bus to Edinburgh is the Stagecoach bus X58. It leaves every hour and takes about 40 minutes. It takes you right into the centre of Edinburgh along Princes street. There is an app with live times.
You can also drive to Ferrytoll ( Hope St, Inverkeithing KY11 1LN ) the bus park and ride which is 3 miles away. There are many more frequent buses from there and parking is free.
Tickets are purchased on the bus with cash or card.
