Our house is located in the "Parc Naturel Régional des Monts d 'Ardèche".
Mountainous wild nature, unspoilt, located at 800 m altitude, overlooking the Mont Mezenc 1753 m, highest mountain of the Ardèche.
The Gerbier de Jonc, where the Loire rises, is also worth the climb!
Vallon Pont d'Arc can be reached at 2h drive.

The space
Spacious living room with wood-burning stove and authentic bread oven.
Stairs in living room lead to a mezzanine with TV (DVD only).


Separate kitchen/dining room with fridge and freezer, gas fire, oven, ample utensils.
Storage room with washing machine and dishwasher, extra sink, 2nd toilet.

double bed 2 mattresses 80×200.
Adjacent in space , lockable with sliding door a single bed (all beds have single duvets).

Guest access
The house is located next to a 'communale', where there is no traffic, only the tractor and the quad bike of the neighbors and the postman passes there occasionally. The house gives direct access to a large terrace and to 2 overhead terraces that you can reach via stone stairs. We live in the barn next door without looking at our guests, they enjoy complete privacy if desired.
We ourselves have green terraces with a wide view of the highest mountain, the "Mont Mezenc", which are of course all accessible for our guests.
Table and sofas are provided so guests can take advantage of the last rays of sunshine, to drink or eat an aperitif.

Other things to note
There is no mass tourism, beautiful pristine nature, quiet, ideal for mountain and forest walks. It is a rural agricultural area and is located in the "Parc Naturel Regional des Monts d 'Ardèche".
There are a lot of signposted hiking trails.
If you want to sail off the river in Vallon Pont d'Arc in the south Ardèche, you should keep in mind that you are on the road for 2 hours, through the many curves and cols you have to do.
Small-scale canoeing is 35 km away in Les Ollières sur Eyrieux.

The house is located in the north of the "Ardèche Verte" and it borders the Auvergne with its beautiful volcanic mountains. It is a rural agricultural area with an impressive wild nature in the middle of the "Parc Naturel Regional des Monts d 'Ardèche". The ideal place for an intense nature experience! To discover Vallon Pont d'Arc, the well-known plaster place in the Ardèche, you have to drive up to 2 hours, because the local laps are very winding! 30 km further you can do smaller canoeing. We try to welcome our guests casually and with small attentions so that they quickly feel at home. We only rent the house per week: from Saturday to Saturday, except in the low season.
