Experience the Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts (CMCArts) and support the vibrant arts community during your stay in Frederiksted, St. Croix. Nestled within a meticulously restored historic building dating back to the 1700s, CMCArts offers a unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty.
Our two residences provide comfort and charm, each equipped with kitchens featuring granite countertops, water filtration, and modern appliances. Whether you prefer dining indoors or al fresco, you'll find everything you need to prepare delicious meals. Enjoy the convenience of internet access and the serenity of plantation shutters adorning the windows.
The Studio, located on the second-floor balcony overlooking the courtyard, offers a cozy retreat with a full size bed, a small table and all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Plantation shutters provide privacy, while ceiling fans and a split air unit ensure a pleasant atmosphere.
Outside your doorstep, explore the quaint streets of Frederiksted, where Victorian architecture and arcaded streets beckon with history and charm. Stroll to nearby restaurants, cafes, shops, and beaches, or visit the historic Fort Frederik museum just a short walk away.
Frederiksted is a haven for scholars, students, and artists seeking inspiration amidst the island's rich heritage and tranquil ambiance. Immerse yourself in the authentic Danish/American history and enjoy the relaxed pace of life in this picturesque Caribbean seaport.

Guests will have access to the Studio apartment at all times with keyless entry. The Galleries are open during normal museum hours. The courtyard and the lovely verandahs are accessible at all times.

The Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts is located in a beautifully restored historic building that dates back to the 1700's in the quaint and charming town of Frederiksted, located on the west end of St. Croix, Virgin Islands. This sleepy and quiet seaside town offers the perfect cross-section of the island's history, culture, landscape and outdoor activities. There are businesses, restaurants and residences in the town but overall it is a quiet, laid back place that offers incredible diving off the pier within walking distance, dive shops and lots to explore. Nearby Ft. Frederik is within walking distance as is the long stretch of beach that borders the beautiful town.
