Designed for two, the spacious dome combines the comfort and luxury of a boutique hotel with the magic of sleeping surrounded by nature.
The space
Nestled in the forest on Cougar Mountain, Washington, this peaceful spot lets you enjoy nature in a forested environment while not having to leave behind the comforts of home.
Located just 5 minutes from Cougar Mtn. Regional Wildlife Park, 10 minutes from Issaquah, 20 minutes from Bellevue, and 30 minutes from Seattle, this forest hideaway is perfect for quick getaways.
Inside the dome, you'll find a comfy king-sized bed a full bathroom with a spacious shower, heated floors and double sinks, with a regular flush toilet.
Robes, slippers, and toiletries are provided for your stay as well as phone chargers, eye masks and ear plugs.
Enjoy the view out of the large glass windows from bed, or close the curtains for light control and sleeping in.
There's a ceiling fan and a floor fan, as well as an exhaust fan for ventilation on warm days.
And for cold nights, enjoy the electric blankets, propane heater and wood-burning stove to keep you cozy.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle and an induction hotplate or make use of the gas grill on the deck.
There is a well-stocked Nespresso station for your coffee enjoyment. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small dining area for two.
Climb the ladder to the loft for a lounging area, where you will find giant beanbags, books and board games and even a yoga mat.
There is also a motorized screen with a projector and speakers, equipped with an Amazon Fire Stick to access many streaming services.
Out on the three-level deck you can enjoy lounging and sitting areas, a fun hammock net, a fire table, and a hot tub. (Note: additional $40 hot tub fee.)
Breakfast for your First Morning:
We've stocked the dome with fresh breakfast essentials so you enjoy a relaxed first morning without having to leave. You'll find pastries, fruit, eggs, bacon, tea and coffee with fresh creamer as well as complimentary bottled water.
This space was especially designed for 2 adults (please no children or pets).
Guest access
You have access to the whole space.
Wandering through the woods too far is discouraged, and the neighbor's property is just to the east, so mind the marked boundary please.
The dome is on our residential property of 7 acres. While our home is on the same lot, and visible as you walk to the dome, it is not visible from the dome property. No other residences are easily visible from the dome property.
You should not need to wander to the main residence unless there is an emergency.

Please make sure you read the welcome info manual. There are a lot of features that you can use, and your safety is our priority.
Everything in the fridge is complimentary!
In the event you get locked out and cannot remember your door code, there is a back-up code under the doormat.
We offer free wifi - please let us know in case we need to reset the router.
We are deep in the forest and insects are a reality. The space is screened for insects, and exterior bug zappers are in place. Bug spray is provided.
A basic first aid kit is also provided.
Be careful to keep the door and windows closed or screened to avoid insects in the dome.
For night time arrivals, we provide headlamps and bear spray at the parking area and the path through the woods is illuminated. We do recommend checking in during daylight hours if possible.
We are in the woods with overhead powerlines in our neighborhood. In the event of a power outage (usually due to a downed tree) there are emergency lights that will illuminate automatically and we do have a generator which we will need to start to restore power to the Dome.
In the event of bad weather that could impact your safety, we will assist you in departing safely and issue a refund for the time impacted (or, contact you to recommend cancelling ahead of time with a full refund).
