The space
This is our most complete accommodation since it is the result of the union of two independent accommodations on the same floor of the same building, so it has everything you need on each side, although it only has a kitchen.

You can arrive at any time after your check-in time because you will get for your keys from a Lock Box and for check out a similar process to make it easier for you.

It is located on a second level. To enter it you must pass two metal gates (one per level) and then the door of the accommodation. This is due to the fact that the gate on the 1st level separates the patio and the stairs from the street and the gate on the 2nd level protects the access to the accommodations. Although it can be a bit annoying at first, they are necessary for your peace of mind and security. In this country metal protections are a standard. All additional windows and doors in the accommodation have metal bar guards.

In the building there are three accommodations and two open parking positions without signaling, so you must ensure that you place your vehicle in a way that allows a second vehicle to enter.

Insects proliferate in this type of climate. In our struggle to combat them, we have placed a special drain in the bathroom in the accommodation that prevents insects from entering through this route. The issue with this is that it removes water very slowly. It is very important that you take this into account because if you leave the water constantly coming out when you shower, your bathroom can flood. If you need the drain to remove the water faster, you can momentarily remove a kind of round plug that has the drain in the middle. We recommend leaving doors and windows closed to prevent the entry of mosquitoes. To avoid the proliferation of insects during your stay, place food scraps in the garbage can, clean liquid spills and others, and frequently take out the garbage.

Another issue could be the smoke detector. You should always turn on the smoke and grease extractor when cooking. Otherwise you could (in addition to generating a greasy atmosphere) trigger the smoke detector which can be annoying. We must live with security since this detector could save your life by alerting both you and people outside the accommodation that something is not right during an eventuality.

About the environment: It is a regular area, middle class, residential mixed with commercial. It is not a particularly pretty area but it is generally quiet and very well located since it is central. The accommodation is beautiful and extremely well equipped, I would say that the only thing it does not have is electrical backup and blackouts are almost non-existent in the area. Nearby there is a Gym which, in addition to being convenient, could also generate some noise due to the music they play for their exercise routines, there is also a closed Fish Market and sometimes they block the way on the street. The Fish Market could very occasionally generate strange odors when they are receiving containers with their products. They also occasionally make noises when starting trucks like those with cooling systems.

On whether the area is safe: We have lived in this area for more than 20 years and an eventuality has never occurred. Anyway, here are some suggestions. Always leave your vehicle securely locked and with your locks on, leave all windows in your vehicle fully closed. Do not leave objects unattended outside your accommodation. Don't leave chairs unattended on the balcony. When it is already dark, do not walk far from the accommodation or walk around the city.
