Cottage 1 is a two-room hideaway with plenty of comfort and Tahoe charm:
Private bedroom with a queen bed for restful nights.
Living area with a queen sleeper sofa, ideal for extra guests.
Fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and utensils.
Dining space for enjoying meals together.
Bathroom with tub & shower.
Two TVs (living room & bedroom) and Wi-Fi for entertainment and convenience.
Air conditioning available in summer months.
Private patio with BBQ for grilling and lounging outdoors.
Fun fact: the Nevada–California state line runs right across the front porch of Cottage 1!

2 Smart TVs (Use Internet Streaming Services & Live TV). TVs are located in the living area and in the back bedroom. Air Conditioning During Summer Months.
Bathroom has a tub & shower. You can request addional towels and toiletries at any time by Texting Dave.
Guest access
Cottage 1 has it's own private patio with table and chairs and a propane BBQ as well as a charcoal BBQ.
Cottage 1 has access to the Common Area with BBQs, fire pit, Tables, Chairs. It is located outside the area of Cottages 3, 4 and 5.
Cottage 1 has its own parking space located to the right of the cottage.

A Storied Legacy
Established in 1929, four of the original cabins (numbers 2, 4, 7, and 8) remain standing—a testament to the enduring craftsmanship and heritage of the area.
In 1932, Vincent “Doc” Hughes, known affectionately as “Doc” for his service as a medic in WWI, acquired the property. What began as a personal haven for family and friends blossomed into Doc’s Place, a welcoming escape that the community still treasures.
