The outdoor patio features a luxurious soaking tub where you can soak under the stars with provided bath salt/bomb. This space is designed for ultimate romance and comfort, with seating areas perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening wine while taking in the stunning views.
The private sauna, made from high-quality pine wood, provides a rejuvenating escape with a view of the Columbia River. After a relaxing sauna session, you can enjoy our outdoor fire pit, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars, roasting marshmallows, and sharing stories.
You can also enhance your sauna experience by alternating between the hot sauna and the outdoor cold shower. After spending time in the sauna, step out and take a quick, invigorating cold shower. This contrast therapy can improve circulation and provide a refreshing boost.
Note: Outdoor shower disabled from October to March due to freezing temperature at night.

Enjoy the nostalgic charm of vinyl records as you unwind in this peaceful retreat.

Our expansive garden is designed to offer both relaxation and recreation. Enjoy a leisurely swing or nap in the hammock, perfect for soaking in the natural beauty and tranquility. We also have designated areas for outdoor games and fire pit with grill, providing fun and entertainment for all ages.

We’re in the countryside. You may encounter wildlife and the occasional bug despite proactive prevention. We do our best to minimize this, but nature sometimes pops in.
The second bedroom is an open loft above the living area with stair access. It has limited privacy and some sound travel.
If you’re after a peaceful, rustic escape with modern essentials, you’ll love it here.

Wildlife Caution: The area is home to various wildlife, including rattlesnakes. Please be careful when walking in the garden, stepping into the grass or near bushes. Wear closed-toe shoes and long pants when exploring these areas. If you encounter a rattlesnake, remain calm and back away slowly. Do not attempt to touch or move it.
Fire Ban: There is a fire ban from June to October. During this time, the use of firewood and the garden fire pit is prohibited. Please use the propane fire pit on the patio instead.
Propane Fire Pit and Gas Grill: You might need to open the propane tank gas supply for the fire pit and gas grill. Please kindly turn it off after each use.
Hammocks and Swing Use: Enjoy our garden hammock and swing, each with a 250 lbs weight limit. Please use them safely and responsibly.
Kayak Usage: We provide kayaks, life jackets, and paddles for your use. Please ensure you have a way to transport them with your vehicle. Alta Lake State Park is a great place to kayak. Before using the kayaks, please send us a message confirming that you agree to use them at your own risk and acknowledge that we are not responsible for any outcomes.
Complimentary Toiletries a: We provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, and shampoo, conditioner and soap for your convenience.
Tea and Incense: There are a couple of different kinds of teas you can choose from. Simply use a spoon to put some in the teapot, boil some hot water, and enjoy! Feel free to try lighting the provided incense as well.
First Aid Kit and Trash Bags: A first aid kit is under the bathroom sink. Trash bags are under the kitchen sink
Outdoor Lights: The outdoor lights automatically turn on at sunset and turn off at sunrise. If you wish to stargaze, you can manually turn them off by pressing the button on the outlet next to the front and back doors. The stars are amazing on a clear night!

Sauna Instructions:
1. Turn the right knob under the sauna heater until you hear a second click. The sauna is now set to turn on for an hour.
2. Leave the sauna as is for 20-30 minutes to heat up.
3. Get a bucket of water to increase the temperature by pouring small amounts onto the stones.
4. Use in combination with the outdoor shower for a complete session.
5. Caution: Do not touch the heater while it's heating as it is extremely hot.
Soaking Tub Instructions:
1. Adjust the temperature to your preference and keep the cover on to retain heat.
2. If only one person is using it, consider boiling a kettle of water to add in case there is not enough hot water.
3. Drain any remaining water from the hose after use.
