Neighborhood highlights

We are the means to the alleys and squares of the center, where medieval churches and baroque palaces compete in beauty. Traditional products are on display in the windows: Asti Spumante, Barbera, cured meats, cheeses, hazelnut sweets and many other irresistible specialties. Walking in the shadow of the towers, you arrive at the Collegiate Church of San Secondo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the largest in Piedmont, Palazzo Mazzetti, a noble residence and home to the Civic Art Gallery. Palazzo Alfieri, birthplace of the 18th-century writer Vittorio Alfieri is a stone's throw away, as is the Crypt and Museum of Sant'Anastasio, a Romanesque site of great charm, the Troiana Tower, the highest in the city (44 meters) and the Domus Romana, a jewel of local archeology.

Via Aliberti, otherwise known as the street of basket makers for the countless artisan shops that built and sold wicker baskets, was the main street of the Jewish ghetto of Asti, and still retains its original appearance with its low and narrow buildings, arcades and artisan shops.

My work: Home Stager & PM
After twentyyears as a manager in front of a PC, I did what everyone dreams: I quit everything. Now I run up and down the hills of Monferrato between houses to arrange, guests to pamper, and tips off the charts to recommend. I do home staging, hospitality, and a little practical magic. I've changed my life, yes. And I finally feel where I should be: exactly here.
