Hygge at its best! Renovated cottage nestled on the edge of Forest Park, set amongst a Japanese garden with views of downtown Portland Mt Hood and the Willamette River. Walk to shops and restaurants on 23rd (15 min) and hike along the Cumberland trail (1 block). Enjoy a forest walk followed by a sauna and cook a comforting meal in the kitchen with the forest fresh air amid the warmth of the fireplace. Filtered water throughout and washer/dryer ensure you are fully refreshed.

The space
Hidden from the street, the B house is set in the middle of a Japanese garden with sweeping views of Portland's bridges, rivers and mountains. Have all the comforts of good living, warmth, rest and rejuvenation in this newly remodeled studio with sauna and gas fireplace. It may be rainy in Portland but you will be warm and snugly inside.

The B House is a separate structure apart from the main house and sits on a lower level facing southeast.

Guest access
Side stairwell and path down to property. Over the redwood bridge to the B House. Parking is always available on the street in front of the stairwell to B House.

Other things to note
ONLY AVAILABLE FOR STAYS OF 31 NIGHTS OR MORE PER CITY OF PORTLAND PERMIT. IF WISH TO STAY FOR SHORTER PERIOD, 31 NIGHTS MUST BE BLOCKED PER RESERVATION. The price per night is based on a 31 night minimum stay. There are no occupancy taxes so it they are showing, make sure 31 nights have been booked.

Pet Policy
We do allow one housebroken hypo-allergenic dog at a time under 40 lbs. The rules for the dog are:

1. Dog must be leashed or under your control at all times while outside. Pets should not be left unattended in the house or on the property.
2. Owners must pick up after their dog. Poop disposed of in bag in garbage bin (next to A House garage) designated for B House and not left outside.
3. If there is a dog accident in the house that causes damage to rugs or furniture, we will have them professionally cleaned and cost will be deducted from your deposit and/or charged to you.
