This unique getaway was the original 1920's general store for the Blowing Springs community nestled in the forest & fields just outside of the city of Chattanooga. We've done a full restoration including granite counters, farmhouse sink, custom heart pine bunk beds, towel warmer, etc... Escape with family and friends at the same location as the Treetop Hideaways luxury treehouse hotel and enjoy the forest trails, waterfalls, and picnic areas on the surrounding mountainside property.

The space
This house is a duplex with a family Iiving in the front half. You'll have two parking spots right next to your door. The brick patio area and bench along the side of the house is your space. A shared laundry room is available through the separate entrance from the brick patio. We do have two beehives in the back of the yard, but they are not aggressive. (And produce excellent honey!) Please feel free to explore the rest of the property by the treehouse parking area, where there are picnic tables and trails leading to a stream and bench overlook. If you enter the trails that go past the treehouses please maintain the privacy of the treehouse guests and provide them space & quiet. :-)

One bedroom has a queen bed with a fold out hotel style bed stored in the closet. The other bedroom has two twin XL beds with a third top bunk.

The kitchen is stocked with local coffee, creamer, and a variety of complimentary drinks and snacks.

The TV is set up with Netflix and a Chromecast. You can cast any device onto the tv or log into any streaming service you have.

The large yard behind your space is shared with the house across the yard. We have a little micro village with 3 families sharing a community garden, the playground, fire pit, and chickens. Please help yourself to anything from the garden and enjoy the swings and fire pit!

Freshly laundered linens and towels are provided along with complimentary toiletries.

You have full access to the brick patio, parking spots by your door, the back yard area, and fire pit. The fenced yard and parking along the road is our private space. Please feel free to explore the trails by the treehouses, but respect the privacy of our other guests! Thank you!

While this listing is new, we've been Superhosts on Airbnb for 7 years! We decided to split our apartment off as a separate listing from our treehouses since it is next to our house, and we wanted to be more personally connected with our guests who stay here. We are located on the base of Lookout Mountain just outside Chattanooga on the edge of the historic St Elmo neighborhood. We love our location 12 minutes from the center of downtown while being surrounded by over 400 acres of untouched forest. In the forest behind this retreat are two luxury treehouses we also rent out. Please feel free to explore the trails along the mountain stream and relax in the woods!
