A stunning Colorado Mountain Home, set on the majestic hills above Crested Butte Mountain Resort. With a huge deck, oversized hot tub and unparalleled views of the surrounding mountains, this house has everything you could want, perfect for Mom or Dad to host their kids and grandkids, or for friends to gather and play in the mountains.

The space
Welcome to 27 Whetstone!

A beautiful property, surrounded by wildflowers with stunning views of Mt. Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley.

Upon arrival, you're greeted with a large driveway and rustic front entrance, which opens into a foyer/mud room. From here, the main living and dining area steps off to the left, while the Full Master Suite, privately situated from the rest of the house, is down the hall to the right.

A set of stairs from the foyer leads down to the second King Suite, with its own full bathroom. The Dining and Living rooms are separated by a large stone fireplace. The dining room is home to a beautiful large dining table with seating available for ten. The fully stocked kitchen is open to the dining area separated by an open bar. The kitchen is a chef's dream and features GE profile appliances, two coffee machines (drip and Keurig), a large pantry, and everything needed to prepare gourmet meals at home. A hallway from the Dining and Kitchen area leads past a large bathroom into two more bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a television.

This house boasts a wonderful vaulted Living Room, with an enormous stone fireplace, comfortable seating, and a gaming table in the corner. Wonderful art adorns every wall and brings a unique sense of attention to the home.

A large deck wraps around the Living room offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountain peaks and is home to a brand new 10-person Hot Tub, an outdoor dining table (in summer) and a Weber gas grill.

Finally, a bunk room, with its own full bathroom, is located down a rustic wood staircase. This room has 4 twin bunks, and a pull-out couch, and offers a retreat away from the rest of the house. the laundry room with oversized LG washer and dryer is located downstairs.

This property is located on the Mt. Crested Butte First Tracks Service Area, which provides free shuttles from our property to the Mt. Crested Butte Transit Center (5 minutes) at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Request a ride right from the First Tracks App. From the Transit Center, a free Bus is available to bring you down to Crested Butte Proper, for shopping, dining, and other activities.
